Things I have a major issue with:
This tweet I just saw: “A girl learns how to be a woman/lady through her mom, but no man will ever love that girl like her dad did. You need both parents.”
absolutebullshit. I was raised by my mom and my grandma until my mom got married when I was in 8th grade. I don’t know my real dad, I don’t even know his name. the only thing i know about him is he was Spanish (from the madrid region) therefore contributing to the fact that I’m 1/4 Spanish. I could really give a shit less about ever knowing who he is, either.
I’m incredibly happy with the person I am today and I know that I wouldn’t be the same person without the love and support of my mom and my grandma.
