i was mouthin’ off to my mom so she came over and took my computer saying, “let’s get this out of the way” so i knew the hurt was comin’
i got up and bolted out the door running down the sidewalk scream laughing and i heard her behind me
both of us in our pajamas mind you
but then the scariest thing of all happend,
the Jehovah’s witnesses were on the corner!
we spotted them, ran back inside and hid.
i watched in horror as they walked towards our house, they knew we were home.
but they also apparently knew we weren’t saveable as they walked right past our house and up to the neighbor’s door.

**I first became aware of shark finning through the documentary Earthlings and would recommend watching it at least once in your lifetime. I was instantly brought to tears at the unsettling process in which shark’s fins are removed and the bodies of the sharks are discarded into the ocean, often still alive, left to helplessly to float around bleeding to death. For what? Shark fin soup?
